WIND ENERGY
Our wind turbine is a sustainable source of energy that powers our site with clean and green electricity.
By harnessing the power of the wind, we are reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a cleaner environment.

SOLAR ENERGY
The pack house is powered by solar panels, which generate the majority of the energy used to run it.
A monitoring system allows you to easily track the amount of energy produced and used on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis. With this information, we can make informed decisions about our energy usage and identify areas where we can improve efficiency.

EXAMPLE OF A SUMMER DAY IN 2024

RAIN WATER HARVESTING
It takes about 9 litres of water to produce a
250g punnet of strawberries.

We're working towards becoming
more sustainable by looking at
opportunities to capture the rainfall on our
farm, to reuse and recycle our water.

We're collaborating with BerryWorld, Cranfield
University and irrigation specialists on an
Innovate UK funded project to evaluate the
environmental and business benefits of
rainwater harvesting
